Affiliate Agreement

1. What this covers

This agreement is between you and Szymanski Media, LLC, and it applies to referrals of paid Modern Builders Society memberships. That is currently the only affiliate program offered.

By joining the program you agree to these terms.

2. Joining the program

Membership in the affiliate program is by application and is approved at our discretion. You will receive a unique referral link once you are approved.

You must be a real person or business, and you must not misrepresent your relationship to Modern Builders Society. You are an affiliate, not an employee, partner, or representative.

3. Commission

You earn 30% of every payment a member you referred makes, for as long as they remain a member. Monthly plans pay 30% every month. Annual plans pay 30% every year. If they stay for three years, you are paid for three years.

If a member cancels and later rejoins on their own, that is not a new referral and it does not restart a commission.

4. When a commission is earned

A referral counts when someone uses your link and pays for a membership. The commission is then held for 30 days before it becomes payable.

The hold exists because new members have a 30-day money-back guarantee. If a member takes their refund, we were not paid, so there is no commission to share. The same applies to any payment that is charged back, disputed, or reversed.

Referrals are tracked by link. We cannot credit a referral we have no record of, and we are not responsible for tracking lost to ad blockers, browser settings, someone switching devices, or a link that was never clicked.

5. Getting paid

Commissions are paid by PayPal. You are responsible for giving us a working PayPal address and for keeping it current. We are not able to recover a payment sent to an address you gave us incorrectly.

Payouts run monthly, covering commissions that have cleared the 30-day hold.

You are responsible for any taxes owed on what you earn. We do not withhold anything.

6. How you may promote

Share your link honestly. Tell people what the community actually is and let them decide.

You must disclose that your link is an affiliate link. This is not a preference, it is required by the FTC, and a short plain sentence is enough.

You may not promise outcomes on our behalf. Modern Builders Society does not make income claims, and you may not make them for it.

7. What you may not do

• Refer yourself, or sign up through your own link.
• Send unsolicited email or messages.
• Run paid ads on our brand terms, including "Modern Builders Society" and "Mark Szymanski."
• Register domains, social accounts, or usernames that could be mistaken for ours.
• Offer cash back, rebates, or incentives for signing up through your link.
• Post your link to coupon, deal, or discount-code sites.
• Make income claims, or guarantee any result from joining.
• Misrepresent what membership includes.

8. Ending your participation

You can leave the program at any time. We may also remove you at any time, and we will if you break section 7.

If you leave voluntarily, commissions already cleared will still be paid. If you are removed for breach, unpaid commissions are forfeited.

9. Changes to this agreement

We may update these terms. Changes apply going forward, not to commissions already earned, and the date at the top of this page will tell you when it last changed.
