API AI Transcription Voice
I use Deepgram’s transcription API in a couple of projects. One is a video automation workflow where I need to understand audio content, find pauses, and make editing decisions programmatically. The other is a SaaS project where users can upload voice memos or record directly, and Deepgram transcribes them so we can synthesize the data on the backend.
The API is straightforward and the transcription quality is solid. New accounts get $200 in free credit with no expiration, which is plenty to build and test with before you hit paid usage.
