Google Chat
Messaging platform built into Google Workspace for team communication.
I’m a Google guy. My email, calendar, docs, and phone are all Google, so Chat is kind of just there. I use it to talk to a couple of people, but honestly that’s not why it’s on this list.
The main thing I use it for now is two-way messaging with my AIOS, the AI operating system I built to run my business. It has its own Chat app, and it DMs me when something actually needs me. When a short goes live on my channels, it sends me the links. When a client’s domain is getting close to lapsing, a backup didn’t run, or a deal on my board needs a decision from me, it pings me there.
And I can reply right in that thread and it acts on it. I answer its question, tell it to update a deal, or send it a screenshot and ask what’s wrong, and it picks that up on my desktop with all my context and answers me in the same DM. It’s pretty much like texting my business.
